La nuova puntata di RockWave condotta da Alberto Prisco inizia con “Feels Pt. 2” dei Son Mieux, band pop rock olandese che negli ultimi anni si è imposta in Europa anche grazie alla collaborazione con Nile Rodgers. Il brano è tratto dal nuovo album “24 Hours”.
“Made God Laugh” è un brano che fa parte di “Hope and Fury”, il nuovo album di Joe Jackson, cantautore inglese classe 1954. In questo lavoro Jackson conferma la sua capacità di osservare il mondo con eleganza e sottile sarcasmo, restando fedele al suo stile inconfondibile.
“Live Today” è il nuovo brano dei The Alarm, storica band gallese guidata da Mike Peters, che lascia un ultimo messaggio di coraggio pochi mesi prima della sua scomparsa. Il video girato all’alba sulla costa del nord dell’Inghilterra ne restituisce forza e autenticità.
The Strokes, band newyorkese formata da Julian Casablancas e Albert Hammond Jr., tornano con “Reality Awaits”, registrato in Costa Rica con Rick Rubin. “Going Shopping” apre il nuovo corso con chitarre affilate ed energia garage più controllata.
