Rockwave torna con le novità discografiche di genere rock

“T Shirt” è un brano di David Byrne, realizzato insieme a Brian Eno e presentato nella nuova puntata di Rock Wave condotta da Alberto Prisco. Non fa parte del recente album “Who Is the Sky?”, ma sarà incluso nella versione deluxe. Byrne, ex leader dei Talking Heads, ha pubblicato nove album solisti in studio e ha firmato numerose colonne sonore e collaborazioni nel corso della sua carriera.
“Years and Years” è il singolo di apertura del terzo album di Damien McFly, cantautore nato a Padova. Il brano introduce “For Those Who Care” e segna una tappa importante nel suo percorso di maturità artistica, con sonorità folk-pop e un respiro internazionale. Damien ha portato la sua musica in oltre 500 concerti, esibendosi in 15 Paesi tra Europa, Stati Uniti e Canada.
La puntata si chiude con “Second Best”, uno dei brani più potenti del secondo album della band londinese The Last Dinner Party. Il gruppo, composto da cinque musiciste, ha pubblicato due album: “Prelude to Ecstasy” e “From the Pyre”. La loro energia arriverà anche in Italia, con un concerto in programma il 13 febbraio al Fabrique di Milano.
